Vineyard IV -19

Becoming a Woman of Prayer

( A vineyard for women of all ages)

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know"  Jeremiah 33:3

"so often we think of prayer as something we do to break through to God and get his attention.  Intimacy with God is actually His idea.

He as taken the initiative, and prayer is His gift to us.  It is an opportunity to embrace His invitation by calling, crying and singing to him.

In Becoming a Women of Prayer, Chynthia Heald encourages us to respond to God's invitation to experience deeper intimacy with Him."

We all have questions about prayer: How should I pray?  Why isn't God answering my prayer? Why is it necessary for us to pray?

Can the Holy Spirit help me pray? These and many other questions and wonderings will be discussed during this study.

When:  Monday nights at 6:30 PM  Starting October 21

Where: memorial room at CPC

We will meet through November. A sign up sheet will be on the hall table outside the office or contact the church office
